End Of Tenancy Cleaning Checklist
Our End of Tenancy Cleaning services are based on the requirements of Letting Agents and Landlords to make sure that their properties are cleaned to the required standard and are ready for new tenants to move into.
If you have specific requirements not met by the summary below, please contact us for further information on how we can help you. We are very flexible and have yet to meet a Landlord or Letting Agent with requirements that we couldn’t satisfy.
Cleaning by room type:
- All cupboards cleaned inside and out
- Worktops degreased and polished
- Tiles washed and degreased
- Extractor hood degreased and polished
- Cooking hobs cleaned
- Taps and sink treated for limescale, cleaned and polished *
- Oven cleaned outside **
* If limescale has built up over an extended time it may not be possible to fully remove it in one treatment.
** For a full oven clean please ask at the time of quotation and we will factor this in for you. Due to the time it takes to professionally clean an oven we are unable to include this in our standard end of tenancy clean without an additional charge.
Bathrooms, Showers and Washrooms
- Toilet cleaned inside and out
- Sink and taps cleaned, polished and limescale treated if necessary
- Showers de-scaled and polished, shower screen cleaned and polished
- Bath and taps cleaned and de-scaled
- Cupboards cleaned inside and out
- Mirrors cleaned and polished
- Towel Rails wiped clean and polished
- Built in furniture cleaned inside and out. Polished if required
- Reading lights dusted and wiped clean
General Cleaning Throughout Property
We clean the interior of your properties windows. We do not clean the exterior due to access, and working at height insurance exclusions. If you would like the ground floor windows of your property cleaned please let us know and we can include this in your quote.
All hard floors such as wood, lino and tiled areas are thoroughly hovered and mopped clean.
All carpeted areas will be thoroughly vacuumed using a high powered machine. If your tenancy agreement requires carpet cleaning, or you have stains on the carpet that need to be removed we can quote for this as an extra service. We are specialist carpet and rug cleaners. Curtains and Blinds
Curtains will be vacuumed and dusted down. Blinds will be dusted and wet wiped clean. If your curtains or blinds need a thorough deep clean please enquire about our specialist solvent cleaning system.
Wall and ceiling light fittings will be dusted and damp wiped clean.
Our cleaners will clean the radiators and all reachable areas around them. This does not include removing fixings or radiator covers if applicable.
All walls to be dusted and finger marks removed where possible.
Skirting boards and Dado Rails
Skirting boards and dado rails to be dusted and wiped clean. We try to remove as many marks as possible, however some scuffs and marks are not possible to remove.
Dusted and cobwebs removed. For ceiling heights above 9ft please contact us prior to the clean as we will need to factor this into the quotation and pricing.
Interior doors and door frames are to be wiped clean and dusted including handles and door furniture.
Switches and sockets
All sockets and light switches to be cleaned in a safe method. Please note that if sockets are loose or deemed to be unsafe we will not be able to clean them.
Properties should be free from rubbish prior to the cleaning. We will dispose of any rubbish we find in the property up to one standard bin bag assuming there is room and access to an external bin. If there is excessive rubbish left in the property, we will have to charge to remove it.
Furnished and part furnished properties
If the property is part or fully furnished, please let us know so we can adjust the quote accordingly. All our prices are based on un-furnished, empty properties unless agreed in writing prior to the work commencing.
